Kilbourne Medical Laboratory is the oldest independent clinical laboratory in the tri-state area. KML has been providing laboratory services to clients in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana for more than thirty years. KML/DML/TML is the largest provider of laboratory services to nursing facilities in the area. Our operations are geared toward servicing nursing facilities, physician offices and corporations requiring clinical tests. Our full service laboratory offers extensive testing capabilities in blood and urine chemistry, hematology, serology, electrophoresis, immunology, toxicology, microbiology, cytology, and histology.

KML/DML/TML is licensed as a full-service clinical laboratory by Medicare, Medicaid, the States of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The analytical methods used in our laboratory are methodologies based on the highest technologies available that provide optimum precision and accuracy of test results.

KML is accredited by The College of American Pathologists (CAP) and has been since 1994. Most health care professionals consider the CAP accreditation to be the highest certification obtainable for a clinical laboratory. KML is a local company that supports the area economy. Our personnel and their families live and participate in the local communities, schools and events. We will continue to work together in a partnership with local physicians and nursing facilities.
