Patient Referrals: Patients may be referred to any of our laboratory’s patient service centers for specimen collection or specimen drop-off. Certain procedures may require a prearranged appointment for your patient . Please call our Client Solutions team to inquire about our Patient Service Centers or any other laboratory related questions.

Courier:
 
MEDLAB provides a dependable courier service for the convenience of outpatient centers, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, clinics and physician offices. Although the couriers have a regular schedule, they are available for unscheduled or emergency pick-ups. Consultation:
 
Our pathologists are available for consultation as needed for interpretation of tests and/or other questions. Consultations and management services are also available for office laboratories.

Skilled Nursing Facilities:
 
For skilled nursing facilities clients, MEDLAB provides phlebotomy and courier services. We also offer in-services for continual education. For further information please contact our Client Solutions Team at (800) 522-7556.
 
 
Ordering & Reports:
 
MEDLAB makes it possible for you to order tests and receive results online. Patient reports can also be mailed, faxed or hand-delivered to the ordering physician daily.
 
  Physicians:   MEDLAB provides phlebotomy services to physicians whose client base justifies the need for a stationed phlebotomist during normal working hours. Please contact our Client Solutions Team for some restrictions that may apply with this service package.  
 
Phlebotomy Services:
 
Qualified phlebotomists perform venipunctures for skilled nursing facilities, clinics, hospitals, physicians’ offices, corporations and patient service centers on a scheduled or on-call basis in particular service areas. Our phlebotomists are trained to assist in patient preparation, special collection procedures, and specimen handling.
 
 
Supplies:
 
MEDLAB provides all the necessary supplies required throughout the process of obtaining and resulting laboratory specimens and they are delivered by our couriers.
 
 
Unlisted Tests:
 
At times, tests will be requested that are not currently available through MEDLAB. When this occurs, we will refer testing and send the specimen out elsewhere for analysis. We periodically evaluate new tests and procedures. As they are made available, announcements will be made.
